One of the many effects of better television and recording techniques has been to raise audience expectations at a live show. Artists and management wanted to reproduce visual and sound studio performances on stage night after night, on tours lasting several months covering many countries and continents. To make this possible, a mass of equipment and ancillaries (clothes, instruments, props, merchandising goods etc.) all have to be packed in such a way that they are accessible, yet completely protected as they travel around the world. Since 1982, Arrowmere flight cases have helped opera companies tour South America, symphony orchestras in the new world, comedians at the London Palladium, Marching Bands in Africa and Rock ‘n Roll Bands in every country in the world.
